A video published on Instagram shows a student in Westminster, Md. kicking the chair from underneath a peer who didn't stand during the Pledge of Allegiance Tuesday.
According to the Daily Mail, the Winters Mill high school student who kicked the chair was disciplined.
He can be heard telling his classmate he was being disrespectful, and needed to have his "a** kicked."
The Daily Mail reports school officials didn't state whether the student was sitting for a specific reason or protest, though he later posted on social media he was "practicing [his] right to free speech."
"I will not stand for a country who mistreats those who aren't white and rich. Forced patriotism is fascism, and nothing less."
The student who was sitting called for others to sit down with him in solidarity, using the hashtag "#sitthef***down."
School officials explained to the Carroll County Times the student who kicked the chair was exhibiting "unacceptable" behavior.

It did get that pasty little twat’s immediate attention, though.
They’re not supposed to sit in chairs. They should continue getting down on their knees in subservience to veterans, our flag and those who stand while saluting the flag. Furthermore, they should cao tao to us, until their foreheads are marked from hitting the floor.
GMTA.
I also came to that conclusion BEFORE I saw your post.
Looks more like a dorm room than a classroom.
Tell that to Jesus for driving the money changers out of the Temple.
LOL. Yep.
Hahaha! Not sure we should do the same for the flag, but I certainly was smiling after I saw the clip.
Anyway, you are correct - those who think Jesus was a milquetoast need to read a little more of the New Testament. There are some things that demand a strong response instead of a discussion.
What struck me about the whole driving the money changers out was that He saw what was happening and He went out(I’m guessing home to the carpenter shop) and MADE a whip.
There wasn’t one just laying around that He impulsively grabbed and used.
I can see the disciples following Him and watching Him as He saw this and the expression on His face changed. Then He stalks off and the disciples follow Him, whispering to themselves, wondering what He was up to.
I don’t doubt that His anger was showing even then.
I would love to have seen the whole thing unfold.
Me too. Sometimes I hope we get to see “clips” from the Bible when we get up there. :-)
