Agree with the sentiment, but it won’t happen. He’s as much a swamp creature as anyone involved. He hasn’t done a damn’d thing since his confirmation, except recuse himself from the fake Russia probe.

From what is happening, it appears AG Sessions has been doing quite a bit, without publicizing it.

I was skeptical of his working behind the scenes.

But the evidence seems to be that he has been doing just that, and for good reasons.

His “inaction” and recusal helped lull the media into belief that they were winning on the insane “Russia Collusion” meme.

In fact, they were doubling and redoubling a bad bet, while the Trump administration held all the aces.

Notice that the FBI informant on the Uranium Russian bribery, extortion, and money laundering case, has just been released from his non-disclosure agreement, by the Justice Department.

The evidence is mounting that AG Sessions has been doing his job.

The most agonizing paradox about government is that the quieter it is, often the better it is.

Some of Jeff Sessions accomplishments so far, gleaned from several sources:

Sessions has moved to reverse a tide of radical actions in the Justice Department that had been promulgated by Obama’s people.

Reduced federal oversight and control of police departments that had been anticipated as the first step in federalizing local police across the US. Is reviewing the “consent decrees” forced on police departments.

A major player against the horrific explosion of opiate related crime and death across the US. A Herculean effort.

Instructing prosecutors to charge deportees re-entering the US with a felony rather than a misdemeanor. Though it is a serious, multi-year felony on the books, prosecutors had been told to only press misdemeanor charges under Obama.

Sent many more immigration judges to states on the Mexican border through a new “streamlined” hiring plan.

Withdrawn DOJ objections to voter ID laws, and authorized states to purge their voter rolls of ineligible voters.

Meanwhile, a legion of career attorneys at the DOJ have opposed everything he has done, in any way they could.

I could be wrong, but I suspect AG Sessions is setting up something big, and while doing so is wanting to look like he’s cowardly and useless. I just can’t see this being true of him - he was so highly regarded. I think he’s going to surprise us all. Sara Carter did say on Hannity that Sessions has been deeply involved in this investigation.

Well, Sessions announced to fanfare today, at a press conference, that the DOJ is going after a community college for free speech issues.

Going after the big fish, eh Rip Van Sessions?

AAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

https://www.scpr.org/news/2017/10/24/76986/u-s-attorney-general-backs-l-a-college-student-fre/

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is throwing his weight behind a Los Angeles community college student who is suing his campus, claiming administrators violated his free speech rights.

On Tuesday, Sessions issued a 21-page statement of interest in support of the federal lawsuit filed by Pierce College student Kevin Shaw in March. The suit alleges that administrators stopped Shaw from handing out Spanish language copies of the U.S. Constitution. Shaw said he was told he could only do so in a designated free speech area, with permission, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The statement of interest comes as the federal judge overseeing the Shaw’s lawsuit is scheduled, next month, to hear college administrators’ request to dismiss the case.

It’s mind boggling why Trump keeps Sessions given the fact that Sessions’ refusal to enforce the law on his fellow DC swamp creatures that are working around the clock to get Trump out of the WH. Maybe Sessions is waiting for Trump to commit arkancide or something. All the more reason for Trump to get a real American patriot as his AG who isn’t afraid to apply the law equally to EVERYBODY!
