Something is definitely wrong with this office.

The next year is critical, before the 2018 mid-terms.

I think that is why the trap was sprung now. It has to be done in time to affect the mid-terms. It has to be done in time to allow for people to primary RINOs.

Now is that time. Notice that Flake and Corker have dropped out.

While a state race, in Texas, the extreme RINO Strass, speaker of the house, who blocked numerous conservative bills by allying with Democrats, has announced that he will not run again.

He was the biggest single obstacle to pushing a conservative agenda in Texas.

End of November, 2018, we will know.

The most agonizing paradox about government is that the quieter it is, often the better it is.

Some of Jeff Sessions accomplishments so far, gleaned from several sources:

Sessions has moved to reverse a tide of radical actions in the Justice Department that had been promulgated by Obama’s people.

Reduced federal oversight and control of police departments that had been anticipated as the first step in federalizing local police across the US. Is reviewing the “consent decrees” forced on police departments.

A major player against the horrific explosion of opiate related crime and death across the US. A Herculean effort.

Instructing prosecutors to charge deportees re-entering the US with a felony rather than a misdemeanor. Though it is a serious, multi-year felony on the books, prosecutors had been told to only press misdemeanor charges under Obama.

Sent many more immigration judges to states on the Mexican border through a new “streamlined” hiring plan.

Withdrawn DOJ objections to voter ID laws, and authorized states to purge their voter rolls of ineligible voters.

Meanwhile, a legion of career attorneys at the DOJ have opposed everything he has done, in any way they could.

His “inaction” and recusal helped lull the media into belief that they were winning on the insane “Russia Collusion” meme.

Until Mueller and Rosestein are out, there will be no swamp indictments. Until Sessions unrecuses himself on all matter Russia and all matters Clinton, nothing will happen. So Sessions hasn't done his job yet.

Notice that the FBI informant on the Uranium Russian bribery, extortion, and money laundering case, has just been released from his non-disclosure agreement, by the Justice Department.

Not relevant. The Senate Committee would have issued a subpoena to to get the informer.

“I think that is why the trap was sprung now.”

I’m not yet convinced that this was some brilliantly laid trap by Sessions, and not just plain stupidity by Holder
and Comey and brazen jump-the-shark corruption by Clinton.

“The most agonizing paradox about government is that the quieter it is, often the better it is.”

Well, by instituting a Special Prosecutor and indicting Hitlery, Holder and Lynch in front of a throng of press, he can now get all the credit he’s due for all that other stuff.

I don’t think Sessions laid the trap. It was President Trump, and it took a loyal Sessions to go along with the execution of it. He has taken a lot of slings and arrows for his recusal, for example.

But now we know (almost certainly) that the Trump administration had the information about the Russian bribery, extortion, and money laundering from 2009 to 2014, with the FBI coverup, before Trump was elected.

Hannity said he knew. It is hard to believe Trump did not.

If they knew, Session’s “recusal” was a brilliant strategic move to get the media and the deep state to double down on their false “Russian Collusion” meme.

It seems to have worked.

He, Flake and McCain can go to the Rino’s Rest Home for Losers, liars and Lamo’s.

“It seems to have worked.”

Not yet.

It’s news on Fox and nowhere else.

And it won’t be unless Sessions, TAKES ACTION.

From what is happening, it appears AG Sessions has been doing quite a bit, without publicizing it.

Bingo! We have no idea what President Trump and AG Sessions have actually been doing while our enemies have been winding their own nooses. They've behaved like men holding aces and goading their opponents into raising the stakes. The net is wide and surrounds many fish. Panicked fish.

I could be wrong, but I suspect AG Sessions is setting up something big, and while doing so is wanting to look like he’s cowardly and useless. I just can’t see this being true of him - he was so highly regarded. I think he’s going to surprise us all. Sara Carter did say on Hannity that Sessions has been deeply involved in this investigation.

We can have different opinions on this site, and not get personal.
