“I do not think JPJones is an idiot.”
Lol.
Thank you marktwain, that’s....(sniff)....
...that’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me (sob).
The deep swamp never thought an outsider like trump would win and not help cover up and deter investigations into the status quo like these issues....
don’t short popcorn makers stocks.....
I admit that it could be wishful thinking on my part, but I used to become exasperated with him because he was so disappointing. I think the public criticism by the president was part of the ruse....letting the dems think this White House is in turmoil and Sessions is incompetent may have let them be a little lax. Time will tell.
>
I think that is why the trap was sprung now.
Im not yet convinced that this was some brilliantly laid trap by Sessions, and not just plain stupidity by Holder
and Comey and brazen jump-the-shark corruption by Clinton.

I can’t think of a THING that wasn’t dragged, kicking and screaming, into the public arena by 3rd parties or ‘whistle-blowers’...instead of DOJ/FBI/Sessions.
NSA? Snowden
Cankles e-mails? Judicial Watch (guys have been kicking @SS)
Uranium One? Independent journalists
F&F
IRS
...
Each and every one slow-walked into govt, white-wash oblivion (”Let’s move on”, “OLD news”, “$X spent over Y months”)
Hell, they can’t even indict, let alone ARREST, Comey for perjury, releasing State secrets, obstruction, and MORE, that he himself *ADMITTED* to doing!? WTF??
It certainly appears like that.
I hope that marktwain’s “clever ruse” theory is correct.
I expect Mueller to indict Manafort here shortly just to distract everyone
“I cant think of a THING that wasnt dragged, kicking and screaming, into the public arena by 3rd parties or whistle-blowers.”
Right.
I’ll believe it when I see Comey, Lynch or Hitlery doing a perp walk.
Uranium One? Independent journalists
We certainly do *not* know this about the Uranium and Russian extortion, bribery, and money laundering case, as well as the coverup by the FBI and DOJ.
Hannity said he *knew* of this over a *year* ago, and was sworn to secrecy. By independent journalists? Right....
Independent journalists make their bones by publishing, not by swearing media personalities to silence for more than a year.
“I think the public criticism by the president was part of the ruse.”
If this is true, then it’s the greatest political manuver evah!
And I’ll post a “I was wrong, Sessions is my Hero” vanity.
Well, Sessions announced to fanfare today, at a press conference, that the DOJ is going after a community college for free speech issues.
Going after the big fish, eh Rip Van Sessions?
AAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
https://www.scpr.org/news/2017/10/24/76986/u-s-attorney-general-backs-l-a-college-student-fre/
U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is throwing his weight behind a Los Angeles community college student who is suing his campus, claiming administrators violated his free speech rights.
On Tuesday, Sessions issued a 21-page statement of interest in support of the federal lawsuit filed by Pierce College student Kevin Shaw in March. The suit alleges that administrators stopped Shaw from handing out Spanish language copies of the U.S. Constitution. Shaw said he was told he could only do so in a designated free speech area, with permission, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The statement of interest comes as the federal judge overseeing the Shaws lawsuit is scheduled, next month, to hear college administrators request to dismiss the case.
It *is* a big and important issue.
It strikes at one the major bases for formation of leftist’s support, colleges and universities.
I think tonight, of all nights, we might just want to cut Sessions a little bit of slack...just saying
“Well, Sessions announced to fanfare today, at a press conference, that the DOJ is going after a community college for free speech issues.”
C’mon, that’s all part of the clever ruse to lull the DNC into complacency.
Here are what some of the enemies of Jeff Sessions are saying (go to the articles for the specific accomplishments):
Jeff Sessions has done more damage in his first 100 days than his boss
US attorney general Jeff Sessions may not be part of the biggest investigation in the Department of Justice, but as he reaches 100 days in office, theres little doubt that hes had an important impact on the American criminal-justice systempotentially for years to come.
Despite the political turmoil of the Trump administration, Sessions has moved to reverse a tide of progressive reform and to fulfill his bosss law-and-order agenda, a collection of concepts loosely articulated during the 2016 presidential campaign. Sessions biggest actions, from undermining federal oversight of police departments to cracking down on undocumented immigrants, have worried a wide array of lawmakers, law-enforcement leaders, advocates and scientists.
Of all the cabinet members, maybe even the president, he has to this point had the most significant impact as to policy changes, said Jesselyn McCurdy, the deputy director at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Washington Legislative Office told Quartz.
Unlike his boss, Sessions is delivering on what he has promisedsometimes on causes he has championed for decades.
Theres been a great bipartisan movement by organizations on the ground and members of Congress to reform the federal criminal-justice system, based on successes that have happened in the states, but the leader of opposition to that reform was Jeff Sessions, as a senator from Alabama, McCurdy said. These are all things that [Sessions], as a criminal justice reform opponent, had on his radar already.
McCurdy said Sessions was definitely living up to the ACLUs concerns, and in some areas, fulfilling the worst-case scenarios.
Jeff Sessions ushers in 'Trump era' at the Justice Department
In just over two months, Sessions has proved to be a central figure in effectuating Trump's vision for America in tangible ways on immigration, crime, police reform and civil rights.
And while the White House searches for new messaging to frame what Trump has accomplished in the first 100 days in office, Sessions has single-handedly managed to make several significant domestic policy changes -- from pressing pause on implementing police reforms to withdrawing Obama-era protections for transgender students in public schools.
His radical transformation of the Justice Department's role is no accident.
Many of the changes Sessions has made thus far track a familiar principle of federalism: the notion that the federal government's powers are limited and it can't coerce states into action. In other words, the federal government should get out of the states' way.
Sessions' critics worry that he is well on his way to undoing many of the major progressive achievements of his predecessors, often by withdrawing from court cases or previous directives that fail to align with his views. Yet Trump supporters cheered Sessions on during the presidential campaign when he said, "the American people are not happy with their government."
Now that Sessions is the nation's top law enforcement officer, his defenders and critics universally agree: he's been busy fulfilling the President's campaign promises and he's just getting started.
Hey! He’s going after MS-13....
Amen!
“He is trying to drain the swamp”
Sessions put the swamp in charge of the DOJ by his recusal. Rosenstein is defacto AG.
Sessions is a beady-eyed deep-state compromised rat bastard. The damage he has done with Mueller’s special counsel coup is immeasurable.
If he had any honor, he would commit seppuku.
“Hey! Hes going after MS-13....”
Ok.
That’s good.
He needs to appoint a Special Prosecutor and indict Hiterly.
Mr Sessions is doing just fine. By officially staying out of all the Russian mess and surreptiously steering the real scandal to the press through and to Mueller he is getting it out there as if from Mueller and it is much more difficult for the MSM to refute it by ignoring or ridiculing it. Their own guy and their own lawyer hit men team are the ones now credited with bringing this all to light. Denying it now is obviously disingenuous and plainly bullshit and much more difficult to wash it and wish it away .
A special is not needed. Hillary was in very clear violation of many laws, many times.
