Of course.
Take that list of drugs alone and go to your local PD or SD and ask what the Charges would be for You if caught with them. Than take that list of charges to your local Judge and ask what Bail would be set at. For the grand finale go to your Boss and ask for Paid Time off until at least your Court date.
I’m betting things will be just a tad different than what deputy dawg got here..
I have a pretty good idea what My Uncle would have done to him and it would be very harsh, starting with “you will surrender your badge, ID and Firearm”.

I believe he did have to surrender those. I think the paid leave is standard procedures for police who are arrested. Most likely because of police unions. Meant to protect those falsely accused, but the guilty get the same union protections. However, when he goes to jail and runs into someone he arrested & is responsible for their being there, the guards will do nothing to protect him. Because he has tainted each and every one of them.
Here was the reply from My Cousin.
“My father would have shown no mercy on this CRIMINAL as he violated the trust ethics of his job, his co-workers, himself..... but most of all.... the badge! What a piece of work!!!”
A bit of background, Her Father was My Uncle. Started as a walking beat Officer and worked His way up to Chief and spent His life upholding the laws. He was “by the book” No wiggle room at all. Even for Himself.
I remember one time He was backing out of a parking space and hit another car. He called for a Patrol Unit to come and document it and write Him a Ticket. The Patrol that showed up was a Rookie and was skeptical about writing a Ticket for the Chief. My Uncle told the Officer either write the Ticket or give Me your Badge and Firearm now!
The Rookie wrote the Ticket.
