They didn’t need an experiment to learn that socialism doesn’t work.
So I went and looked at their so-called "full menu". They offer a pizza margherita (read: fancy cheese pizza) at a price that is probably reasonable for the Boston area. But the glaring problem is that they offer no other stable pizza offerings on the menu - only rotating hipster-trendy items ("examples" include Shrimp & Corn with Puttanesca, Mashed Potato & Meatloaf with Corn, Capers, & Béchamel, Curried Vegetables with Lentils) that have no prices attached.
It's no wonder they went out of business. They failed at being a pizza parlor, no matter how much or little they paid the employees.

Right, which is being proposed for all of Massachusetts...because it’s working SO well for Seattle and SanFran. $15/hour for sales clerks, dough slingers, etc, makes for a lot if overhead on low value products. Another concept the Left does not get.
The mashed potato meatloaf one sounds like a hit mess...especially once you drag the capers and bechamel into it.
I’m triggered anyhow, no farrow, butternut and kale pie?
Theres a sadness associated with it, said Carole Walton, a Roxbury resident. On a daily basis I come in here, and this is how I get my day started, with conversations and warm greetings and good people. Im going to definitely miss it.
Well, maybe if you’d have spent a dollar or two, Carole.....
A well-timed article for a discussion I have going on Facebook about “living wage”. Thanks for the article - good read with excellent point on business operations.
Probably one of those trendy, vastly overpriced, dopey "Hipster" joints.

Like I said, commies. They should have called it Sickle & Hammer Pizza.
Went full retard.
You never go full retard...
Team leader Luther still does not get it.
Its an experiment, and some very good things came out of that, such as skill-building for staff and being in this building at this time of gentrification and change in this community.
He is also unemployed. I wonder who will hire him now?
Answer: The gov’t....
.
Is that the maternity ward?
.
No, that's...
Yes they did, but they still didn’t learn the lesson.
Should have gone with a pizzeria where you can make your own pie.
Yes, but not in Roxbury. You're not going to get John F'n Kerry's Beacon Hill neighbors traveling to Roxbury when there are much better offerings in much safer neighborhoods.
