Doing housework this afternoon and listening to my Moody Blues playlist. I don't know much by them, but I do love the ones I do know.

Saw them at the Forum in LA about 40 years ago.

I know you’re out there somewhere once upon a time.

Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white.
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?
When I was a teen, I couldn’t get ENOUGH of this unadulterated schlock. Thanks for the memories! :)

Lol. Same for me. But not schlock...beautiful poetry. :)

‘So gently swaying through the fairyland of love.’
Maybe just a little schlocky?

Everything from Days Of Future Passed to Seventh Sojourn - brilliant!

I saw them maybe three times back in the seventies and once more in the nineties. Fantastic concerts with fabulous music. “Nights in White Satin” is my wife’s and my song for 45 years.

Sometimes my schlock detector works, sometimes I’m blind. :)

And which is an illusion? Anyone who thinks these lyrics are schlock should compare them with the lyrics of "Rockstar", the obscenity-laced gang- and drug culture-extolling song that currently tops the Billboard Hot 100.

“I Know You’re Out There Somewhere” - one of my all-time favorites.

I voted...they had some of my favourites on there:
Depeche Mode
Dire Straits
Judas Priest
Moody Blues
Radiohead

I was at a Moody Blues Concert in the nineties and when they started I Know You’re Out There Somewhere, a girl came running down the isle with a large sign that said “I’m Here!”.
