Since you are on this thread you already know the details so I’ll fill in the rest here. Most folks don’t think of negative two as the square root of four. It’s not what you get when you plug these values into a calculator.

Two is a principle value in order to make the square root of 4 a valid function. (To be a valid function it has to have only one output number per input number) . In reality the complete solution to a square root is not a valid function because most of the time it has 2 values. (The square root of zero being the exception)

It’s even more unthinkable in this case because it would mean your trusted leader would have that negative value. How could a leader be negative unless they are harmful to the very nation the people have put at the top? Unthinkable! Yet here we are. Obama conspired to hide his harmful collusion with Russia and got it done because he made sure Congress did not know all the details!

Your first two paragraphs make me feel like a Kardashian. But yes, a leader can have malignant negative value. How does a country pick a leader? The same way people are allowed into a concert, through vetting. Concert goers all get in by authorities searching the bag and entering a metal detector. But if we get fooled by [factor x] and don’t put the leader through the detector, a guy with a bomb could get into the concert and a man who isn’t a citizen and has ties to enemies could be elected President.
