I have worn one six or seven days a week for over 40 years. Five work days, Sunday, and maybe going out to dinner on Saturday. The only break was on vacation when I refused to even pack a tie in case there was some event that may require one to be worn.

Useless decoration on a male, period!

Suits and ties are for interviews, formal events, funerals.

I don’t think I could function in a job where I had to wear one every day.

A month or so ago, I put on my good suit that I got many years back and found the jacket was a lot smaller than I remembered.

It’s been about a decade so time for an upgrade sometime. No rush.

I’ve always thought they were kind of useless; but a man looks so good in a nice suit and tie.
