Why is Jeff Sessions hiding the Uranium One informant?
American Thinker ^ | 10/21/17 | Deniel John Sobieski

Perhaps as startling as the revelation that the FBI was investigating the Hillary Clinton/Russia/Uranium One collusion  and that key figures like Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe knew about it and said nothing, is the refusal by Attorney General Jeff Sessions to remove the non-disclosure agreement gag order on the FBI informant who arguably could put Bill and Hillary Clinton and a few others in federal prison.

It was said the Jeff Sessions recused himself from all things Russian because of election campaign conflicts but is it really because he thought it would insulate him from having to divulge what he knew about Uranium One and the people who at the very least knew about the deal, some who approved the deal, including past and present members of the FBI, the DOJ, and Special Counsel Robert Miller’s team? Is Jeff Sessions part of the Uranium One cover-up? If not, then he needs to explain why he is thus far refusing Sen. Chuck Grassley’s request to lift the gag order imposed by the Obama administration as part of the Uranium One cover-up:

All I can say is that Mr. Sessions had better have a damn good reason.

It’s time to air this abomination ... Sessions needs to get on board.

Unless Trump fires Sessions this goes nowhere. And if he did that he would have to appoint an interim otherwise Rosenstein takes over, great right? Unfortunately Mitch rigged it so Trump cannot do a recess and probably will do it again. So none of this goes anywhere and Mueller and his hit squad keeps on.

Of course he does. But, he may have been playing a long game here, and not want to inject himself directly into the process unless absolutely necessary. For example, if Grassley raises enough of a din, or Gowdy, about this agreement, DOJ may be forced to take a position. And, taking the position that the agreement is valid (which it shouldn’t be in the first place) and that they will enforce it might cause an uproar without DJT having to directly inject himself into the fray.

It’s better for him if this agreement becomes contentious without him acting pre-emptively, I think.

Trump’s release of Kennedy assassination material seems like a dodge away from this other nefariousness.

The current position on the informant could be reversed at any time. It could turn out that this was an astute move. The information to be gained already exists and is known. So why disclose it before locking in the offending parties to some kind of story first?

I think there used to be a US Attorney General by the name of Jeff
Sessions, but he *recused* himself 9 months ago and has not been heard from since...

"Perhaps he doesn’t want the informant to commit Arkancide?"

Exactly. It may also be due to testimony before a Grand Jury.

Considering the number of people who die after exposing the Clintons, I think the informant is in the witness protection program.
I’m not sure Sessions should be criticized for no naming the informant.

He’s in more danger by not testifying with the traitors knowing he can always testify in the future.

Most likely he has been completely debriefed and everything he has to offer is recorded in a sworn statement. When to announce those statements will depend on the players in the audience and the larger game plan.

Arguably, he has been a potential target from early on in the episode.

Because it appears that the Toons, ø and every one else of democrap self-importance is going to be able to walk away from this, as usual. That’s why.

Because Sessions is a worm. A gutless worm. He has already screwed up his job beyond redemption. Nothing left for him to do but help the traitors impeach Trump.

Can the President issue an executive order to have a special counsel appointed to investigate this?

I guess Sessions prefers being despised by Trump supporters over committing suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head.

I would think that The Swamp already knows who the informant is, so I would think the answer to your question is, "no".

There will be only one opportunity to sort this out. Right now the Attorney General is NOT discussing anything that literally is going on... There is NO way to know how many people were given ‘immunity’ by the Obama ‘just-us’ department.

How many ‘honest’ lawyers were in the ‘just-us’ department when Sessions took the office... How long would it take to even tear down the cells, established from back to the Clintons. W Bush sure did not clean the place out... I have read there are 50 thousand employees under Sessions... Think there are NO leakers waiting to alert Hillry about the going on in the Department of Justice?

Trump can easily fire people until a Trumper becomes senior DOJ head. Might have to go deep but that IS the solution. Then he appoints Judge Jeanine to work its way through the senate.
