The story is all but dead. You can thank the heroic widow who released that recording of her phone call with Trump.
It wasn’t The Call, but it will make the rounds and cause the average person to say “well that wasn’t bad at all, and if that is how he makes the calls I don’t see what’s wrong with it” and they will lose interest.
