Mexican actress Kate del Castillo has bluntly revealed that during the filming for her documentary 'The Day I Met El Chapo' she had sex with Sean Penn.
'I never fell for him, we had sex. Sorry but we are both single and something was going on but that was it, it was business' she said during her interview on Good Morning America promoting her film out on Netflix Friday.
The actress also says people just assumed she had sex with El Chapo, however in her interview she insinuates that that did not happen, adding that she feared being 'raped' by the infamous drug lord during their rendezvous.
When asked why she waited to say something about being intimate with Penn she said: 'Nobody asked me, and it was so stupid they were all thinking I had something to do with El Chapo and nobody asked me and I'm not bragging.'
Del Castillo admits she had sex with Penn, but that was it, there was no relationship that followed.
Meanwhile Penn and his team have tried repeatedly tried to block the documentary from going forward.
Penn's team last week fired off a letter to Netflix to pull the film saying 'that blood will be on their hands if this film causes bodily harm,' to their client, according to the New York Times.
Penn is particularly concerned that the documentary, in which he does not appear, implies that it was he who helped authorities at the Department of Justice in their capture of El Chapo.
Del Castillo admits that during filming she felt like she and Penn were in a very delicate situation while meeting with El Chapo, so much so that she felt their lives were in each others hands in the face of the notorious drug king pin.

Sean Penn is a douchebag. Horrible actor. Only does the “big tough guy” act when cameras and armed security are around. Outside of that context, he’s a coward.
While I despise drug cartels, it’d be a fitting end to Sean Penn’s career if we got a video of him begging for his life in front of cartel hitmen in a puddle of his own piss and vomit. Wouldn’t mind that cartel for a few minutes if I’d get to see that. They wouldn’t have to kill him ... Just release a video.

Watched El Chapo. Good series and didn’t mind the subtitles. I’ve gotten used to them since I’m getting old and can’t understand most of what’s being said in English speaking films.

I don’t think it’s a matter of getting old, I think it’s the lousy sound quality and the excessive loudness of so many American productions. I have good hearing but still typically turn on subtitles for English programs just because the dialogue can be so difficult to make out.
