Below are picks and projections using the S&P+ projections you can find in full in the Football Study Hall stat profiles. See the bottom of the post for more detail about these.

The spread (listed in parentheses) is shown next to S&P+’s pick for each game. When S&P+ predicts a push (a tie with Vegas, basically), I’m listing the pick on the side that S&P+ would’ve picked, if teams could score in decimals.

This document breaks games (and S&P+’s season performance to date) out into their decimal glory. There wasn’t just a ton of glory for S&P+ in Week 7. More on that at the bottom of the post.

Looks like the TV remote will be busy Saturday night clicking between the Wolverines paying a visit to Happy Valley and the Trojans who dress like Romans visiting the ND CINOs (Catholics in Name Only). There will be a white out at Penn State. Considering how bad Big Blue's offense is with a horrible QB I don't see how Michigan keeps pace with the Nittany Lions offense. Unless PSU turns the ball over giving Michigan short field opportunities I see PSU winning by double digits. Considering how the CINOs lost by only one point to the Dawgs and how inconsistent USC has been unless Sam Darnold has a monster game the Domers should beat the Romans. Not much else on the schedule except taking a macabre interest on how much Nick Saban wants to pummel the hapless Butch Jones.

A certain team with Bye Week is going to benefit being fresh and rested when Penn St visits the Buckeyes next Saturday - I’d say the Buckeye’s are this week’s biggest winners.
