Wait: Tramadol is an opioid?
It never did anything for me. I thought it was akin to Advil.
I got it for a torn rotator cuff. It hurt real bad for a long time.
They only recently classified it as a class 2. I give it to my dogs ( on the advise of my vet) as long as it’s just tramadol and not ultram with acetaminophen in it. This is not uncommon.

Same for me with my hip. No better than Acetaminophen.
Tramadol hydrochloride is a prescription pain medication. It is licensed for the treatment of moderate to moderately severe pain in adults. Even though tramadol is an opioid (morphine-like) medication, it is not considered a narcotic or a controlled substance by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Its a synthetic manmade opioid so its not REALLy an opioid. And the other half is related to the anti depessant effexor.
Not that my doctor had me addicted to these things for over 5 years while telling my there was no medical way it could be possible, but, If I were you, I would stay very far away from Tramadol/Ultram.
