A Florida woman is facing a murder charge after, authorities say, she punished her 9-year-old cousin by sitting on her, causing the child to go into cardiac arrest.
Veronica Posey, 64, told investigators that her cousin, Dericka Lindsay, had been misbehaving, so she decided to sit on top of the child as punishment. Minutes later, Dericka said she couldnt breathe. She was unconscious by the time Posey stood up, according to an arrest report from the Escambia County Sheriffs Office.

Most likely a grandchild abandoned by one of their kids.
These are actions that cry out for capital punishment, if only to spare us from their future stupid actions. Intelligence is partially inheritable. I’m presently in favor of abolishing the defense of insanity or mental incompetence (if not temporary and reversible)
Florida is a sick, sick place.
Agree on all points.
Pearls Before Swine: Doesnt seen possible for first cousins.
alexander_busek: Two brothers - one born in 1920, the other in 1945 (the mother was 20 years old at the time of the birth of the first son, and 45 years old [not unheard of] at the time of the birth of the second son).
The one born in 1920 becomes a father at age twenty, in 1940.
The one born in 1945 becomes a father at age 50, in 1995.
As the French say: Voilà!
Regards,
You’re up to 50, I suppose you could stretch it another 5 years, lol.
all children/people’s lives have purposes/reasons.
We just have to be wanting to seeing what that is, otherwise I’d agree with your view on things we’re all “doomed” some early on and some later.

1995 - 1940 = 55.
As the Germans say: Mathematik!
Regards,
While it is possible they are first cousins, it is also very possible that they speak of each other as “cousins”, even if there is no actual blood lineage shared between them.
I know a young lady who calls another young lady her sister, but they are not related by blood, nor were they raised in the same household growing up. One was raised in Oklahoma, and the other in California. They both have a common half-brother, who was raised with neither of them. Yet, the two young ladies refer to each other as sister.
Evil woman... evil.
Probably as long as the average death row inmate.
Black people don't really adopt. It is extremely rare.
2 + 2 = 4 or 5. Oops.
