I feel kind of sorry for the Cops, they were all set for a Double Whataburger with Cheese and Fries with Fancy Ketchup. I know when I’m in that mood nothing else will do. In addition, Open 24hrs, Whataburger’s get robbed all the time. Cops dropping in regularly is a real crime deterrent.

Meanwhile in Denton (TX), almost every clerk in a FF line I’ve been through tries to offer me the LEO discount (when in uniform; been doing armed security for almost 20 yrs) and acts shocked when I turn it down. I’ve had people in front of me pay my bill before I got to the window.

We took swift action and this person is no longer employed by us. We’ve also reached out to the police sergeant to apologize and plan to speak with the other officers involved to apologize in person and make this right. Whataburger truly appreciates our law enforcement and their efforts to protect and serve our communities.
