Fans booed New Orleans Saints players who knelt before the presentation of the American flag and the singing of the national anthem Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The boos rang down during a moment of silence for fallen NOPD officer Marcus McNeil, who was killed in the line of duty Friday. The fans cheered when the players stood before the anthem, which was performed by former Saintsation Deri Tucker. Sunday's game vs. the Lions was the Saints' first at the Dome since President Trump weighed in on protesting NFL players during a campaign rally in Alabama last month. Officer Marcus McNeil, 29, was slain while on duty Oct. 13, 2017.

The NFL could go the way of movie theaters and shopping malls at this rate.
Why do so many blacks destroy everything?
First time I learned this was when the black kids were bussed into my school from across town, and that if you had black kids in any of your classes, your were not going to learn so much for that semester because they were immune from being ever disiplined.
These people have been very privileged for many years and that is the problem.
I suppose some may say that I am a racist just for pointing such thing out but, frankly, I don't care any more. I am white therefor I am a racist in the mind of any Snowflake anyhow, anywhere because, they are mentally ill and brain washed.

Yep. Just had a back and forth here yesterday with a go pack go fan. He could care less about taking a stand. He wants his football and people like him are the problem. Glad karma was instant for him today.

what qualifies you to label someone not a true patriot...?

Facts, intention & outcome qualify, you simp.

My big question: Why are any decent, patriotic Americans still attending or tuning into NFL games?

Why are fans putting up with this desecration? It’s the middle of a culture war and they’re bending over. Shame.

I have the very same question. Can’t understand it. They’re supporting anti-American thugs. For what? A stupid game?

I am real shocked that Tom Benson the owner is allowing this Awful situation to fester .
The kind of behavior will kill this team quick and all there Tax breaks and
Superdome arrangements. Lots of these fans are from AL TX and MS were the police not disrespected .

I am just shocked how many people are just acting like this is not even happening. They continue to watch the Eagles wvery week without question. They ask if I saw the game and seem shocjed when I say I am boycotting the NFL and will not watch another game. People are addicted to this crap and will justify watching no matter what. The NFL has become a pagan religion.

Yeah, I’m all for yanking back any tax subsidies to these owners. The players will have to settle for smaller saleries or even a smaller league.
Schmucks.

(Democrats destroy the Middle Class. It's what they do.)
The NFL needs to do as the NBA and put the requirement in the Rules and require
that be a part of each players contract. Here what is included in the NBA rules/regs
...
(1) Each player when introduced, prior to the game, must be uniformly dressed.
(2) Players, coaches and trainers are to stand and line up in a dignified posture
along the sidelines or on the foul line during the playing of the National Anthem.
(3) Coaches and assistant coaches must wear a sport coat or suit coat.
(4) While playing, players must keep their uniform shirts tucked into their pants,
and no T-shirts are allowed.
(5) The only article bearing a commercial 'logo' which can be worn by players is their shoes.
