Was Jack Woltz based on a real person?
The richer and more powerful you become, mores the need for you to make your own ice tea before some disgruntled assistant spikes it.
They sound pretty bad, but most of them can’t hold a candle to some of the POS actors out there, who seem to comprise about 90% of all actors.
Not exactly working for (or with) Mensa folks in Weedwood.
Yup, there are a few really smart folks there.
But they are as rare as conservatives.
Hmmmm, maybe there might be a correlation there.
Oh rubbish.
Disney didn't like left wing communists threatening him, and put up a fight. Moreover, the allegations of antisemitism have been disputed by many who knew him, including many Jewish friends.
Moreover, during WW2, Disney did everything he could to help the war effort, and he HATED the Nazis.
Disney made films, logos, shorts, cartoons, etc. to support the country.
To attempt to lump the likes of Walt Disney in with Harvey Weinstein and the current Hollywood nutcases is completely wrong.
I have seen no mention of Bryan Singer since this all broke.
I think this is all to cover up far worse.
Walt Disney might have brought joy to millions, but he was also a paranoid control freak who underpaid his workers, made anti-Semitic remarks, and butted heads with labor union organizers. Oh, plus he turned in people he thought were communists while spying for J. Edgar Hoover and helping Senator McCarthy. Hes more of a rodent than Mickey and Minnie! [Business Week]
Disney union struck and they started the jew hating, racist remarks about him. Walt Disney was not anything his detractors say he was. He had too many employees that spent decades working for him.
I can’t speak for the others on the list, but Walt Disney definitely shouldn’t have been on the list of bad bosses. The anti-Semitic stuff was pretty much character assassination by leftist communists at Disney, and I think the fact that he made films condemning the Nazis should speak for itself his views on anti-Semitism. Actually, if anything, either Jeffrey Katzenberg, Michael Eisner, or Bob Iger would have MORE than qualified for the list than Walt Disney ever did (and believe me, if you looked at the track record under Jeffrey Katzenberg, he’d probably be comparable to James Cameron regarding viciousness).
