Walt Disney might have brought joy to millions, but he was also a paranoid control freak who underpaid his workers, made anti-Semitic remarks, and butted heads with labor union organizers. Oh, plus he turned in people he thought were communists while spying for J. Edgar Hoover and helping Senator McCarthy. He’s more of a rodent than Mickey and Minnie! [Business Week]

Oh rubbish.

Disney didn't like left wing communists threatening him, and put up a fight. Moreover, the allegations of antisemitism have been disputed by many who knew him, including many Jewish friends.

Moreover, during WW2, Disney did everything he could to help the war effort, and he HATED the Nazis.

Disney made films, logos, shorts, cartoons, etc. to support the country.

To attempt to lump the likes of Walt Disney in with Harvey Weinstein and the current Hollywood nutcases is completely wrong.

They didn’t like Walt because Walt was a conservative with enough money to tell the rest of Hollywood to go to hell. And the whole antisemitism thing has been thoroughly disproven.
