Do black people ever get sunburns?

Funny enough, we do. Might depend on how much honky blood you've got. My last sunburn was in southern England, of all places.

Yeah... the symbology of redneck actually speaks of people who aren’t afraid of hard work in exposed conditions. They aren’t lollygagging, mincing little protected wimps.

That’s why I am so aghast when I hear “redneck” used for a class of people who think themselves better because of their genetics, their race. The devil excels in getting things backwards, and that’s one example of it.

The real “redneck” never had slaves. He went out there and picked his own cotton, getting his neck red in the process of course! A real “redneck” is such a delight to meet.
