Jane Skinner Goodell on Thursday admitted to running the now-deleted Twitter account @forargument under the name 'Jones smith', using it to clap back at unflattering NFL coverage.

So when the Miami Dolphins owner changed his tune AKA Jerry Jones, one could find such a thread because of a common KEYWORD.
The NFL subject is a "Hot Subject" for many on FREEREPUBLIC.
The Common Keyword helps remind folks (those on not on Freerepublic as well) that there is a major boycott going on that is hurting the NFL, NFL owners, and the networks broadcasting NFL games.
Currently, there is no skin on the NFL's nose in terms of broadcast money.
The networks -- ESPN/ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX have to pay the fixed amount. They normally make money off the NFL (prior to 2016).
There is major evidence of the NFL and broadcasters hurting bigtime. Jerry Jones and company are really taking it in the SHORTS.
The NFL will get a fixed $4 billion dollars from broadcasters for games this year — regardless of ratings and how the broadcasters are doing (which are hurting financially bigtime).
