Update your software and make sure you run full scan.
Be damn sure you check the "nexdefinstall.dmg" file and let your virus protection fix it.

Can In delete it after it's been 'fixed' without setting up a virus problem, or a program that will fail to operate ? Yes, you can safely delete it. If you accidentally mount the disk, eject it, then delete the file. Luckily, there is no auto-execute on such a mounted disk image. The likelihood in any case is what was found on the file is a buried Windows malware that cant even install on a Mac. . . thats usually the case.
