Comedian Seth MacFarlane admitted Wednesday that he ripped Harvey Weinstein ahead of the 2013 Oscars after learning the movie mogul preyed on his pal Jessica Barth.
Back then, the Family Guy creator notably cracked, Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein, as he read off nominees for the Supporting Actress category.

If that were the case he should have called him out right then and there....like they did with Bush and Trump.
Considering 3 of 5 ladies are old enough to be his mother or grandmother, I’m not sure he’s being a hero here.
Weinstain only went for the young un’s.
you are forgetting they were not always old. the guy has been a beast since the 1980s
#8 and the hollywood crowd still supports the Clintons and will condemn the victims.
Something like: Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to submit to Harvey Weinstein's lecherous advances.
That might have made Harvey and the rest of the hall nervous. But the way he said it, it was just something everybody could laugh off.

Dad went to a boarding school (a rival of South Kent) and it is common knowledge about gay sex in those places.
So is Seth admitting he knew about the harassment and just chose to make jokes about it?
You’ve got a point, but when you listen closely to the audio, it’s *really* nervous laughter from that room. Those people knew what McFarlane was saying, and yet were cowed by Weinstein’s power, no doubt about it.
So four years ago McFarlane knew what was going on with Weinstein and instead of calling the cops the best he could do was come up with a piss-poor quip.
