For me the question is what was he planning on doing? Clearly the guard spooked him. Was the plan all along to shoot up the concert? Or did he have something else in mind?
What was Plan 1? Were the windows broken before the guard was shot or after? If he was shot, then the shooter panicked, then broke the windows and then let loose hell, well, it could be that night wasn’t even on his radar. It’s obvious he wasn’t ready if he was still setting up cameras. But then how did he expect to get away with the blocked stairwell? Nothing in this story makes sense.
My quandary today is why didn’t the cops on 60 Minutes mention the guard or the maintenance man? If they weren’t there, then that’s another story version that goes down the drain.
Yup, I think his shooting at the crowd was an on the spot decision once the guard spooked him. Not the original plan. If the new timeline (or anything else) can be believed he started shooting 6 minutes after wounding the guard. Had that been the plan along I don’t think it would have taken him six minutes to put “the plan” into action.
Another thing that brothers me is the suicide? Still lots of people at the concert grounds to shoot at. He’s still got plenty of ammunition and barricaded doors. Why not go down shooting? Maybe he feared be taken alive? Feared he’d talk and give up his handlers?
