The theme of Tennant being afraid to die was just incredibly powerful. When he stops ranting and goes to free the man with acceptance, finally, always gets to me. And the ood singing him to his death. Wow.

‘I don’t wanna go’ ... that was from Tenant’s heart. I wanted to imagine he could go be with Rose, or place himself with his wife in the nether Library holding place.

That was a great performance all around.
The old man’s expressions really enhanced the scene and made it even more memorable.
A lesser actor would have ruined it.

I don’t want to go.
