When we kept lobster traps, we found them to be a pain b/c they ate the bait in the traps; would throw them into the bottom of the boat and take them to shore, leave them on the dock, to bake in the sun. Never once, did they crawl off the dock to escape in the water below.
Guests would take them home for *souvenirs*.

understand that lobsters walk straight. It’s the crabs that walk sideways.
With this knowledge in mind lobsters are to be considered
as good guys and crabs as those who tend to bend the law.
Which direction starfish may walk is still questionable.

Usually they walk backward, with their claws raised in defiance, when they are facing their prey.
Lobsters can swim both forward and backwards, by flicking their tail.
Both crab & lobster can use autotonomy; I think sea stars do too.
If they weave and stumble - then it’s time to eliminate the sauce. :)
Love lobster and crab meat. Then, to find out MO, who has priority, enjoys lobster - the joy of eating just turned a tad sour.
That foot was creepier than the starfish.....

I haven’t seen lobsters walk but crawfish walk backwards and they look a lot like lobsters.
