Why highlight the part about not having kids?
A lot of people can’t or don’t have them. That isn’t peculiar at all.
I also do not think he was mocking POTUS. It doesn’t matter anyway as it was a joke, but watch for people’s agenda when talking to the media about this man. Anyone can say anything, and for this woman to specifically mention Trump by name and the border wall...idk.

It was not that he could not have them, or did not have them, it was that he did not want to have them.

He did not say President Trump. I've heard very similar jokes from others who are having a very tough time accepting the miraculous victory of last November as they try to cope.
