I think I understand human nature perfectly, being 70 years old, and the mother of two sons. I've trusted some people in my life, but not many. Life experiences have taught me to be cautious, and question everything, and not put myself out there to become a victim. Having worked as a Correctional Officer, and Sergeant for 25 years in NY State's prison, I think I understand human nature a bit more than the ordinary person...having seen the worst of it.
