I hesitated to post this as a vanity but I thought it was important for those of us following this case.
Steve Wynn, speaking to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday this morning, said that he had checked with all his staff (right down to masseurs and beauty shop operators) who had or might have had contact with Paddock or Marilou Danley and they reported that no one had ever seen Paddock or Marilou take a drink. Of course, this is unusual because alcohol is not only free but encouraged for gamblers at Paddock's level.
Maybe they want us to think paddock was a muslim...?
Maybe to cover up that he was a stinking leftist who gave big bucks to Hillary?
Just wild speculation on my part.
Has anyone in Law Enforcement been asked if there is any evidence he was connected in any way with Islam?
That is not an anti-anxiety medicine that one is "on" per se (takes as a matter of routine). Valium are taken as needed and are addictive when taken too often.
Many people take valium and still drink.
Potheads ?
Steve Wynn is a big Trump supporter.
I am sure the staff at Wynn’s would have supplied him with pot if requested.
Or maybe because he was a criminal who could expose others.
Then to wash the cash, he comes up with idea of gambling, where he reports $5 million of "earnings" in 2015. Easy conversion while living the high life.
So where's a Koran? Did he ever visit a Mosque? Do we have Islamist contacts on his computers? Cell phones?
I'm going to need more to believe he converted to Islam that simply ISIS saying he did.
My point was that we don't have enough evidence to prove or disprove this conversion claim.
Ping to add more confusion to the mix.
As other posters noted, the photo we saw of him drinking shots could have been pre-conversion, IF there really was a conversion.
Many reports contradict a teetotaler. “He was also a heavy drinker, known to demand high-end cognac...” Who knows? Time changes a man. It does explain the valium...detox.
Or Baptists
Only alcohol drinkers would think this is "unusual".
Only people who don't drink alcohol, like myself, don't think this unusual at all, whether or not the casino encourages it or makes it "free" for the big gamblers.
If you don't drink, you don't drink.
Schrödingers Cat Paddock? Perhaps Paddock was simultaneously an ISIS convert and not an ISIS convert, existing in both states in the multiverse until we looked inside the hotel room.
Conversely Paddock was simultaneously a space alien, or not; Kim Kardashian, or not; D.B. Cooper, or not; a member of the original Rat Pack, or not .
I hesitated to post this
Is that like someone saying I probably shouldnt say this and then goes ahead and says it anyway? Or even hold m beer and watch this? Always listen to your first instincts.
A claim that is made without any evidence does not have to be refuted.
“An absence of evidence isn’t evidence of absence” regarding the lack of evidence thus far of an ISIS connection.
Neither are Mormons and Southern Baptists, to name two other religious groups.
He’s pictured with a shot glass in his hand. I doubt it contained Harvey Weinstein’s favorite of Diet Coke.
