Agree.
She needs a lawyer .
but he sounds more like a family lawyer than a criminal lawyer.
She has one
The most curious thing for me was why Darnley so blithely returned from the Philippines simply because she was asked to. Some say she sincerely wanted to cooperate and perhaps clear her name, but why could she not cooperate as well from the Philippines, outside U.S. jurisdiction? Why did she have to travel to LA where could easily be arrested just to answer questions? Certainly, she must have had some reasonable fear of what could happen if she came back, yet she did so anyway. Or, maybe not. Maybe she was returning for a different reason. Maybe she knew exactly what the subject of discussion was going to be when she came back, and expected it to be one much to her advantage. That makes much better sense to me. If both she and the government knew what Paddock was involved in before the shooting, then she was coming back to cut a deal for her cooperation. Or, maybe it was for her own safety, if Paddock had been turned or set up by a third party.
I wonder where they got the money for him?
