I think it updated to 8.1 before I went offline, but will confirm it next time I boot up.
I have some XP era apps that I still use and I read 10 is not friendly to older apps. I may just build a new machine and go to 10 and keep this older one at 8 so I can still use those older apps. Dislike 8’s user tile and hidden file menu interface, but the machine and OS have been very solid.
