“when was the last time housekeeping checked/ cleaned his room”? Do you ever stay in hotels? Hotels don’t want to check or clean your room. They do it as a courtesy. If you hang a “do not disturb” sign on the door, its less work for them and they move along to the next room. There is zero unusual about this.
“Smuggling in guns, ammo, etc. without being noticed”. Hotels are filled with people moving bags up and down to rooms and out of rooms all day long. No one is paying attention. Why would they?
I suggest you get out of mom’s basement and go stay in an actual hotel sometime and see how they operate.
