OAN had a special about these groups a week or so agor, and I was shocked to see how long Antifa has been around. We thought it had just sprung up, but no. Neither of us slept much that night.

Thank you for the reference to the OAN Trevor Loudon special, I missed that. In return, I will recommend Loudon's The Enemies Within (free on Amazon Prime), in case you missed it.

Louden may have misspoke in the special when he said Antifa had morphed into a communist group; IMO, the more prudent view is that it has always been communist.

Louden suggested it was an adjunct to the Communist Party but did not limit that to the CPUSA. He also mentioned some connection to the World Party ("Workers"?) but made no reference to Russia. Of course, he may have wished to be discrete.

Trump would have deeper intel and I hope if Russia is funding Antifa, directly or otherwise, that he has had a serious heart-to-heart with Putin.

Neither of us slept much that night.

Now you can easily guess the origin of my screen name. (Although I think it a myth and that the frog jumps out and is extremely angry.)
