I agree. This is disgusting. We’ll be going out of our way not to watch Fox Sports.
Thank you for this, growing up in NJ I used to love hearing him sing this and O Canada when the Rangers played the Canadians in the Forum. The Schaefer Circle of Sports on Channel 9.

No it won't. It will still deprive the player of showing his phony "protest" to millions of people on an NFL broadcast.
The only people who will see his lousy protest will be the ones who want to see it, just to be reminded of how un-American he is.
Depriving them of their platform until they straighten up is a big step towards crushing them...

I would say Fox cares not a wit about depriving the players, only about protecting their interests. They’d probably salute the players with admiration if they could get away with it. I feel more likely they are gambling that by not showing the anthem, many viewers will return and forget about the issue.
