Apple Inc was selected almost most frequently as the most "technologically advanced" of all the Tech firms by over 1000 surveyed professional tech people around the world. Almost 47% of these tech pros named Apple more frequently than any other tech company as being more technologically advanced than others. Microsoft, Samsung, and Google came in 2nd, 3rd, 4th. — PING!

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha.

This is laughable.

The world hasn’t seen advanced tech.

All we have currently is smaller and smaller microchips. That’s all.

There’s vastly superior tech out there under lock and key.

IPhone gripes:

(1) Multi-touch procedures to mute phone

(2) No direct way to maintain text message group lists

(3) Touch screen cannot hover like a mouse

... just off the top of my head.

Cool!

I love my 6S+ and will be getting the iPhone X and Watch 3 LTE.

My Mac Pro is dangerously old, though, and I hope to high Heavens Apple will be updating it!

I can’t use the iMac...I need full peripherals, full internal storage and lots of ports, plus an upgradeable video card and motherboard.

I don’t know how much I’d trust this list, they definitely didn’t pick a very knowledgeable group of tech professionals. HP at 9%? eBay? Alibaba? Adobe? Uber? McAfee? EA, Nintendo? Seagate? Salesforce? NEC? Verisign? Intuit?

45-50% of their ‘professionals’ picked companies that are only marginally involved in any kind of technological advancement. Several are just basic software, they don’t have anything fancy, much less better than any tech coming out of every other company. Alibaba is basically craigslist for companies. Nintendo makes games... that are the worst in terms of technological advancement compared to every other major console. that’s part of their business plan, and why they cost maybe $150 instead of $600 for the xBox or PlayStation. EA doesn’t even develop anything, they just do software. Games. Valve should be ranked higher, they’re at least doing more with Source 2 engine and their attempts at VR.

Years ago, I was anything but Apple, but got my wife an iPhone to avoid the BS. Eventually, I got an iPhone.

Apple’s relentless pursuit of the unified garden finally prevailed for the portable devices, but it’s still a non-starter for workstations.
