Probably the biggest question I have is, what caused him to stop shooting? I understand that he was only shooting for ten minutes, but it took cops over an hour from the time the first shot was fired to actually get into his room. So, what was he doing with the rest of those 50+ minutes?
Did his barrels melt? Did he have a sudden attack of conscience? had he already offed himself? Was it really the guy on the grassy knoll?
1. Did it really take the police over an hour to get into his room?
2. I've seen reports suggesting that he had set up some gun positions outside his room in the hall, and rigged his door with explosives as well. Perhaps he spent the 50+ minutes setting all of this up? He wouldn't have been able to do a lot of this BEFORE he began shooting without attracting the attention of other hotel guests and staff.
Was he placed in the room and killed AFTER the shooting started and stopped?
As cops and security approached the room, he was shooting. He saw them on his camera he had placed in the hall. He fired through the door and then shot himself.
He wasn’t shooting because he was dead. And alone in the room by the way.
Judging by the unsubstantiated photos of several of his firearms and the unspent cartridges lying on the floor, he may have ran out of full magazines and was attempting to reload them...........
Everything is pure speculation right now........
Fifty minutes is more than long enough to leave a body behind and get of the room.
