I would not give a dollar to any football team if they were all sinking. or any other high paid win or lose sport.
Many of them became sports Heros through the wellfare programs which are paid for by our taxes and then they think they are Gods and the tax payers are peons.

As to "giving it money," that was done early last year when season ticket owners pre-pay for their tickets (yes, they do keep our money for quite some time,) so we aren't giving them our money now.
Should our team do as the SF Giants do and have over half our team do their stupid anti-flag "sit ins" to show how totally unintelligent they are, especially, to the country, the military, the police and their fans - but they haven't - one person, Marcus Peters has continued to do it and last night got "booed when the mere mention of his name, before the anthem by 78,000 sell out crowd!"
What's more, when he did his sit down, not kneel, the fans behind the Chief's bench continued to give him the business and especially when he allowed the TD in the first two-three minutes of play, really bad mouthed him and he responded by yelling obscenities back, throwing his helmet to the ground!
The Redskins all stood though I couldn't see if any of them made any rude gestures, so Marcus' tantrum really stood out last night!
I don't expect Peters to hang around much longer, as none of his fellow teammates are there give aid and comfort to him and he stands out like the useful idiot he is!
I never purchase NFL merchandise, nor purchase player "swag," so while attending a game, unless more of this behavior comes to light, we probably will continue to support the team (plus a dear friend is one of their coaches and we love him and his family and we know his and other staff feelings and unlike the old Marty Schottenheimer days, with Coach Andy Reid, behavior and respect is strong from the top, not the cowardly crap from Jerry Jones, etc.

You make some excellent points, particularly not handing the leftists another victory. If I had season tickets to the Giants, I’d probably do the same as you intend to. The only flaw in pursuing that course of action is the structure of the NFL itself. The thirty-two owners are apparently deaf to what is happening around them and when they finally do wake up, it will be too late to re-establish control over their off course enterprise. It truly is a shame...
I think that liberal elites of any race or ethnicity...academia, sports, entertainers, government officials....can say outrageous things (stupid and/or lying) and the MSM will not call them out on it. I call that liberal privilege.

I hear you as a long time Chiefs fan. I absolutely hate the fact that the left has now taken over the NFL and using it to politicize and advance their agenda. I have spent some time to email the NFL, the Chiefs, and their sponsors to stop the politicization of the NFL. I also told them I will push my congress critters to take away their anti-trust status since they decided to politicize the NFL.
The buck stops with the NFL owners to enforce their own rules on this or I’m prepared to move on. When I watch pro football I want to see pro football, not some a-holes using that time to try to make a political statement and using a very inappropriate time to do so. What’s worse is these political statements these players think they are making are based on lies. It’s asinine what these owners are allowing and how it’s damaging their brand.
I have not tuned in to the NFL since the previous Sunday, including the Chiefs games. With these digital boxes these days, they know exactly who is watching what and I don’t even want to give them that satisfaction. Even though the Chiefs are 4-0, what’s so sad about this whole situation is the realization the left has taken over the NFL and they end up ruining everything they touch.
I do hope taking our fight to the sponsors and such, works, that is the thing to do if we don’t want to see the NFL destroyed. I don’t, but I realize how we have such a corrupt leftist culture and I’m prepared to move on if I have to. I did it with Major League Baseball and I can do it again if need be. Maybe another pro football league will rise in its place.
