Last night’s Monday Night Football match-up between the still unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins started off with a moment of silence for those killed and injured in Sunday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Though I most often don't watch their away games on tv, I'm still rooting for them.
The conclusion I came to after lots of my badmouthing the pampered, ingrates who've pouted and preened in front of cameras is, I'm not giving the Marxist/left another victory!
I gave them the Boy Scouts; I gave them the entertainment industry and I even gave them my Presbyterian church but I'm drawing a line in the sand here.
I'll write, fax, hand deliver letters, petitions and carry signs out at the Chiefs executive offices, I'll stand with 78,000 others and loudly boo Marcus Peters, til he gets so mad, he quits rather than take the humiliation of his home football fans who want him gone.
Ill take my time to write letters to sports websites, call into the sports talk radio but I'll not let a mere one, useful idiot force me to no longer watch and cheer on my home team!
You all are free to do and say and certainly feel you've been stabbed in the back but you are playing into the very hands that hate football in the first place, the American hating Communist Left!
Take a good look around you, what is the same as it used to be, what did you used to enjoy or even love that has been destroyed beyond recognition?
I'm NOT giving up nor giving in - I was of the opinion that's what "we" fought so hard for when "we" elected Donald Trump!

the nfl really screwed the pooch on this. their ratings will never quite return. even if they stop the disrespecting of the flag, spousal abuse, etc.
for every game that people don’t tune into, some of those will discover something they like better.
Owners are Bribing players to get them to stand up ,so it’s all about money . When will players ask for 50/50 split ?
NFL - white liberal elites and the black community (players) who prop them up... Sounds a lot like the democrat party.
What do they have in common? Both were kicked off their college teams for disciplinary reasons.
The NFL thugs don’t understand that they get a percentage of the revenue pool which is then split among the teams and they pay the players. Even giving them 50% of the shrinking money pool, won’t equal the money pool they are now getting. So every fans that stops watching, takes money off of their pay check. Kneeling equals pay cut, dummies.
Even if nobody takes a knee anymore, I cannot unsee what my eyes have seen. I didn’t know nor did I care which players were Democrats and which were Republican. I counted on the fact that they were all Americans who loved their country. When I saw 200 players take a knee, and the owners of the NFL NOT apply rules that they applied any time players try to honor their country or fallen police officers, I can’t forget that. Why should I tune in to see people who I know hate the country stand up and salute the flag because they don’t want to lose their job? And listen to ESPN commentators who I know are communists who have done everything they can to cleanse their company of conservatives? The hell with the lot of them!
The USA has liberal privilege, not white privilege.
Good for you. I just don’t want to glorify a bunch of classless and unpatriotic behavior. These aren’t the role models our young people need.
I want the players to be reminded that they have to answer to someone or they might take a pay cut.

Ditto. Don't think that I even turned the TV on last night.
I watched the NFL for decades. Was a hardcore fan. Last year, I started walking away from it, watched a little, when convenient. This year, nada.
So...in a little over a season, I've gone from not missing a game, quoting weekly stats like scripture (needed for fantasy leagues), and following NFL events closely on sports talk during the week .... to forgetting that MNF is even on TV.
The NFL is in trouble.
Frankly, I'm surprised at how little I miss it. Thought that I'd go through withdrawal, but no.
Two and one of them, Marcus Peters, cursed at at fans booing him and slammed his helmet on the ground.
I noticed that but thought that it might have been prompted by too many empty seats in Arrow Head.
At least they weren’t hypocrites like those linking arms

You see, the left has already taken control of the NFL, so what you’re doing now is supporting a leftist organization, regardless of your rationalizations.
You only have to take a look at thug #1 Marshawn Lynch to know that. He comes to games with his pants hanging off his ass, dressed like the thug he is. His latest classy attire included wearing a tee-shirt that said the country was against Trump. There are many Marshawn Lynches in the NFL and these are the “role models” for little boys, black and white. It’s disgusting.
It may be gone, I don’t think so yet but then I don’t choose to be a defeatist - at least not 4 games into this season!
You’re sure not helping defeating it by giving it money.
I understand you like football, but the NFL is just a particular incarnation of football and now with the left controlling and running the show, it has morphed into one of their propaganda tools.
If enough people stop giving it money it will either change back, or collapse and something new and more traditional will take its place, because there will still be a demand for the sport itself without the propaganda.
