I think this is a very plausible scenario.
Whatever Paddocks level of involvement- as the lone wolf - or as a lovelorn patsy who funded an arsenal and was persuaded to participate in a planned operation and then executed - he was radicalized to attack what can be assumed to be a crowd with many white conservatives
This was not muslims going after a decadent vulgar performer with a bunch of gyrating fleshpots like Grande or Cyrus
Reeks of Antifa/ blm conveniently linked to ISIS for mass murder of innocents
Just watched a fascinating interview on Fox with an experienced psychiatrist, familiar with mass murders. He completely walked through the profiling of this guy. First he said , don’t look at the killer look at the victims and after dismantling what is missing from this, no signs of mental illness, not knowing any of the victims, not a workplace vendetta, factoring in his age and no previous record etc. He said it came down to two probabilities, 1) notoriety 2) a cause/statement. He then ruled out notoriety and wnet with a political cause not unlike the recent attack on the congressional softball team, Scalise, explaining that if security had not been there it would have been a blood bath and the shooter was counting on that.
He has to be planning this for weeks, if not months, so this is not a flip out.
I am thinking there might be a bigger political picture (beyond gun control) that I can’t see.
Or He might be a Left Wing Breivik.
Or he might have been the fall guy for someone else.
Random thoughts: Did this Danley couple groom him for this? How long have this Marilou and Paddock been together? Where did they meet? How was she tied into this in the first place, for the police to call her a person of interest - because her ID was used to secure the payment for the room? (which is what I thought I read elsewhere). If so, why wouldn’t she want to hide her association with him, why would she leave her ID wothbthe hotel? Could these Danleys and Paddock be a connection between Mideast terrorists and Antifa?

When I first heard that she was out of the country I had decided that she was was a muslim who had brainwashed him and left Dodge before the crime. But as I learned of him being an unfriendly loner, aggressively standoffish to any neighbours, but with some money and a girlfriend, I changed my thinking. I think she had made good use of him and was done. She also had to know he had weapons and wanted to be far away after jilting him.

I happened upon CNN’s Alisyn Camerota this morning and she was spitting such hate all over the screen about those right winged conservative internet forums.
The government suppressed Charles Bishra/Bishop’s motive for months. The tampa teen suicide pilot wrote a suicide note that pledged support to Bin Laden and made a threat against the Superbowl.
All we heard for months was that he’d been a high school young republican and flipped out because of zit cream.
I'll agree with the first part. He probably planned this for a long time, enjoying the fantasy. I cannot imagine that, but the typical criminal who hurts people puts a lot of time into the anticipation. I chose my words poorly with "flipped out", but whatever mental problems he had to begin with presumably became worse over time.
Speculation is she dumped him before this incident. He may have deliberately reserved the room in her name to associate her with the attack as a sick way of "getting back" at her in revenge for her leaving him. He'd be dead, but the FBI would be tracking down and arresting her.
Unfortunately for him, the cops bought her alibi.
