Sorry...Captain James T. Kirk was the real deal and it’s hard to deal with anyone else.

Sorry, I rate it very low. It really bothers me that they have to make the show an allegory for current political debates. Give me Season 3 with Jonathan Acher. Now that was truly great Star Trek.

The cast “took a knee”... so I added them to my boycott list.

No, but "The Apple" was the worst episode of the original series.

With David Soul as some sort of albino native peoples guy.

The ONLY redeeming thing about this episode was her:

I like the Oroville show. It’s pretty good so far and not super politically correct.

The first two episodes were okay, but overloaded with Klingons. Too much. I would not say they laid a good base for the seies/story. They were sort of disjointed.
Episode 3 was really good, makes me want to see more. Lots of layers to peel back.

I only watched out of curiosity to see Michelle Yeoh. Then I thought I would give it a chance UNTIL I saw the entire cast “took a knee”. Screw ‘em.

Haven't seen it. Probably won't unless the reviews are very positive. Star Trek has always been hit and miss, with more miss than hit, and that trend grew as the various series came and went.
The only science fiction series I'm really looking forward to currently is season 2 of 'Westworld'.
