Yes, the majority of cardiac arrests...do not have good outcomes.
But, I've witnessed many that have had cardiac arrests...and we get them back..The "problem" gets fixed...and they continue to have birthdays..with no deficits.
That said...when you find someone down...for who knows how many minutes...it's not a good thing.
Tom Petty...was a great singer/song writer....that had a pretty good heroin habit...at one time...I do believe. I hope he did not suffer....
