He had 10 guns. No problem in laying down that many rounds, especially if you didn't care about melting them.

There are dozens of “torture test” videos on you tube where they fire as many rounds from a single gun. He was firing on a huge parking lot, not a 12” target

Getting a weapon hot usually does not stop it from functioning. It does affect accuracy, but at the distance to target to me it looks like he was just spraying the crowd.

We won't know more until the type of weapon or weapon's used are released.

Making an AR fire full auto is not rocket science and could be done fairly easily with tools from Home Depot, a little skill and Google.

Interesting, in listening to audio I commented to another that it sounded like two different weapons simultaneously at times.

Just throwing this out there....

Most military arms can go 500 rounds or so (wiggle room) back to back before heat becomes a problem. As to the number of hurt, that many folks in full panic flight are gonna fall, get stepped on, or smacked into obstacles, etc.

They are going to know how many weapons and types were used when they remove all those bullets from the victims
That and trajectory if the wounds should tell if it was even possibly done by a single shooter with 10 minutes
Plus the forensics of whether shooter committed suicide, when. or was murderex by possible accomplices

No, the shooter had ten long guns. If he rotated through the guns, he could easily have done it alone. One gun is cooling while he uses the other nine, etc.

And the numbers of casualties? It was a crowd of 20,000. The shooter didn't "aim" at anything. He just pointed and fired into the crowd. They were standing so close together he couldn't miss.

I am no expert, but I have been studying firearms history since age seven.

I find it almost incredible that one lone old man could shoot that many people by himself - even if he had a fully automatic weapon.

Magazine capacity? Barrel heat?

Did he have one or more associates, there or in another location? Was he just a dupe due to his bizarre history and gun collection?

Alas, whatever the truth is, I do not think we will ever know.

Our government deceives us about everything, for political purposes.
