Looks like someone in a parking lot caught the muzzle flash.
Although it appears the muzzle flash is coming from below the 10th floor not from the 32nd?

Right it should have read the 32nd.
Not likely. The shooter was a 64 year old white guy.
Others have said it might be a prison tat: 12 jurors + 1 judge = 13.
Looks like reflections of the flashing lights on the ground.
I wish some of the Freepers with the right experience would chime in, because I know there are plenty of them here. From my very limited experience: (1) That does not sound like 5.56, but something a little bigger. It does not have the “crack” sound of 5.56, but I could be wrong. (2) The rate of fire seems to vary. Can automatic weapons do that? Maybe it is sonics or reverberation making it seem like that, Otherwise, it would be some type of bump fire arrangement. (3) If it is automatic, what type of weapon sounds like that?
I am no expert, but I have been studying firearms history since age seven.
I find it almost incredible that one lone old man could shoot that many people by himself - even if he had a fully automatic weapon.
Magazine capacity? Barrel heat?
Did he have one or more associates, there or in another location? Was he just a dupe due to his bizarre history and gun collection?
Alas, whatever the truth is, I do not think we will ever know.
Our government deceives us about everything, for political purposes.

Come on. I’m as quick as anyone to dismiss a conspiracy. But there is a second, driver’s phone that captures this as well.
Also, does ANYONE have any video of the muzzle flashes from the 32nd floor? I haven’t seen any yet.
Asking questions doesn’t imply being a “nutter.” It implies you want reasoned answers. This is no strobe. And it’s too far away to see if the window had been blown out.
I’m reminded of the JFK conspiracy where they finally got audio of FOUR “pops” in Dealey Plaza. They discovered three were the exact sound of Oswald’s gun, and a fourth was the sound of a motorcycle backfire. But they asked the question. (It also pretty conclusively disproved any other shooters).
Incorrect. There are two other videos out there now on Twitter with “flashes” coming from that spot. One from a car driving by, pretty clear. A second from another car, I can’t see anything at all.
But do you have any video showing flashes from the 32nd floor? I haven’t seen a single one yet. Would like to.
Ok, I watched this one three times and didn’t ever see a flash-—anywhere. Why no flashes at 32nd floor????
But certainly in this one I saw nothing at the 6th floor.
On closer look to the second video, it CAN be a strobe. Can’t tell.
Interesting on the police scanner they keep saying “half way up” and “about 15th floor.”
I think Mandalay is 45 floors. Either way, 32nd isn’t “half way” or about “15th”. Odd.
What kind of device are you using to look at it? Meaning smart phone, tablet or Desktop?
I can see it on my desktop, but not on my smart phone.
i looked at 4 or 5 others and never saw one flash. anywhere.
Great reply and thanks. All good comments but it leads me to my second comment all the more. Guns laws are a failure in stopping the criminal or terrorist since they will find a way round the law or outright ignore it. If the perp used any of those techniques for rapid fire, he effectively got around the laws banning fully automatic weapons but still created the affect of making a semi-automatic weapon fire rapidly. Thanks again.

Wouldn't "match up" if real....about a half second sound delay at 150 yards...almost 1 sec. at the 350 yards from the shooter to the stage.
Also no broken windows on the lower floors..."2nd shooter" is on the the window washing scaffold or something?!?!? "Occam's Razor" applies.
Makes sense. And also the feds could have had enough on him to make him some sort of go-along/patsy.
I know what you are saying. The clip I saw was close enough.
In the dark there was no way to see if window was broken.
After watching a larger verzion of the second video of same window, it isn’t a strobe. It looks like muzzle flash.
I keep going back tbe fact that so far no video of any muzzle flas from the ewnd floor has surfaced.
All you need is a screw driver to remove the window.
