What these residential idiots don’t know is when there are too many deer in a residential area due to these idiots feeding them, the city management will often quietly call in specialist hunters who, after dark, will use either bows and arrows, or silenced subsonic firearms to quietly kill and remove the deer herd.

Next morning no one knows anything about it, and wonder where all the deer have gone.

There are too many deer everywhere in Pennsylvania; the idiots feeding them aren't people who live in residential neighborhoods. The idiots feeding them are the Fish and Game Commission.

I live miles from the nearest residential area. Don't need any specialist hunters: when they come in my corn fields, they don't leave my farm. In or out of season, any month with a vowel.

Where I live in a somewhat exurban neighborhood in E. TN about 20 miles west of downtown Knoxville, there’s no culling of the deer. They’re as common as rabbits and are present nearly all the time. Indeed, it hilariously reminds me of a trip my mother andI took to northern WI when I was about 12 yeas old to visit her sister at the sister’s place on a lake in a national forest. Deer were rumored to b there so we went out early one morning to try to see one. All that happened was we may have heard one crossing and and snorting in the brush. Nothing more for two whole weeks. Now all I need to do to see one is drive down the road in front of my house.

Maybe we should import a breeding pair of cougars. It wold also help keep the small children down, a job my Great Dane and Pit Bull cross have woefully failed at.
