Like I said several times before, the NFL has forgotten that their fan base is heavily
Conservative. As such, these shenanigans has really turned off the fan base, to say the least. If the players try to be "cute" this coming weekend, the result could be financially disastrous. Your problem, NFL.

Isn't an apology supposed to start with an admission that you've done something wrong? These guys do not have a clue. I'm serious - what we see is a steady diet of "the fans don't understand our point", but we do and we did, and it's the players who don't understand ours. And ours isn't a very complicated point.
Massive insensitivity, massive failure to communicate with the country that is showering them with wealth. Or was. Because this fan wrapped it up last year and I'm almost sorry I can't quit all over again.

Live? Guess I was not clear...so was the college football game that I heard when I opened my back door live...just was so nice to hear the Anthem playing form their field.
BTW, Been to plenty of HS football games—watched son play every weekend while he was in HS and then went for a few years after that. Doesn’t get any better than local football, and I am lucky to be in earshot of 1 high school and 2 college football fields :)

Here in central Virginia the local VFW and American Legion killed NFL on TV but the Moose didn’t. They decided to have all the viewers stand for the National Anthem instead.
