this is wishful thinking- its one ticket reseller reporting a drop in their sales...the vast majority of NFL tickets are sold to season ticket holders long before the season starts...some teams have more single game seats available than others...

there was no 17% drop in tickets sales to this weekends games other than by this one resller..

There are a lot of videos on youtube of fans burning their NFL gear and tickets. Some have been posted to this web site. It just started 4 days ago.

I don’t believer this is wishful thinking.

Stubhub is big ticket seller like ticketmaster.

So what we are seeing are market forces being reported.

Hey if you think disrespecting the flag and the country is winning people over to the NFL. Then you should encourage more of it.

You're right that NFL teams aren't losing any ticket revenue from these secondary sales, but you can be damn sure that the sales figures for these resellers are a very good indication of exactly how NFL fans feel about their teams RIGHT NOW.

And remember that when game-day attendance goes down (i.e., the resellers aren't getting buyers for all their tickets) then the NFL teams do lose revenue from concessions, parking, and other things that relate directly to actual attendance instead of ticket sales.

All this lays out is that individuals who often buy thirty tickets and do reselling on the side for a cash profit as you approach game-day....are sitting there with tickets which aren’t moving that well. It presents a problem that these folks will have to discount the tickets and lose money as they finally dump the tickets. As spring of 2018 comes and the teams sell next year’s tickets...those will be the problems that people would expect. Expect 20-percent discount for the 2018 season.
