Good thing there is this big crack-down on prescription opiates. Now those with valid reasons for seeking pain relief will join those looking for a buzz. The end result is swelling of demand for black market product. And with stuff so potent like carb/fentanyl you only need to smuggle small volumes - good luck stemming THAT pipeline.

But there will be smug smiles on the faces of those who, through their do-goodines, make things worse.

None of that has anything to do with the criminal creation of waves of drug addiction by criminals in the drug industry. If these criminals had been prosecuted for past scams there would be no opoid epidemic. The FDA is neck deep in this too, protecting them.
