I hope I am posting this in the correct place.
I downloaded version 12.7 of iTunes this morning, and it does not allow me to purchase apps from the store anymore. It seems I have to do that from my iPhone. I live where there is no cell phone signal, and I really do not want to wait until I leave home to download or delete apps.
I tried to revert to an older version of iTunes, but it tells me the exported library was created on a newer version that it cannot read.
Can someone help?

Since when is taking away functionality a good thing?
Using the app store on my big screen PC is much preferred over the tiny iphone screen. Deciding on one app among many is easier if I can see the full text description rather than scroll endlessly.
