I certainly agree with the valid point made on assets of the teams. They are all franchises and really have no hard assets, unless you as the owner own the stadium. The only real assets as such are the TV contracts and the good will.
Does anyone think the Dallas Cowboys are worth around $5 Billion, what do you really get for that money???????
The Cowboys might actually be an unusual case among NFL teams. I believe they own their practice facility and a lot of real estate in that area of Dallas-Fort Worth.
I guess ticket sales, jersey sales, licensing fees, and team and stadium related business. Lose goodwill though and all this potentially decreases.

For $2k or so you can get the same number of people on their knees in any brothel (I assume) - without our country being insulted - and get it from people who are more civilized and a lot closer to law-abiding.
