American Made premieres this week, bringing two reunions with it: Tom Cruise and Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, and Tom Cruise and his ever-growing age gap with his female co-stars. Sarah Wright (who plays Cruises wife in the film) was born in 1983 just a couple months after the premiere of Risky Business, making her 22 years Cruises junior. Which is somewhat uncomfortable.

LOL, I think the guy was on to something....
“There is, however, a significant correlation between the two, you must admit, just as a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn’t necessarily a square.”
Having reviewed it from every angle, I believe you are correct!
Example:
He's 44, she's 19.
So far, great.
I use a simple drawing to point out why a 60+ person should not marry a young person, but no point in showing it to him. A person at the end of their “healthy adult” life span should not marry a person at the beginning of their “healthy adult” lifespan. The reason is simple: When your health starts going down, it goes down FAST. In a few years, one of you will be having drinks with the pool boy while the other is in a nursing home.
Standard method for Hollywood. They pretty much never put women over the age of 30 (maybe 35 if they’re aging very nicely) in as a love interest no matter how old the guy is. Hollywood loves them some May September.
Well! You’re just one big frickin’ ray of sunshine, aren’t you?
Did you pay to see the movie? if you did you’re part of the problem. Aside from that, singling out Cruz for having younger on screen love interest when that is common practice is just silly. There are enough legitimate things to go after Cruz than this crap.
We are all Tony Randall now.
Lol.
Boys will be boys.
Cruise.
DNA
Wide age gap is how DNA works. It is just how nature built us. Ages 20 & 18 there is little benefit to passing genes.
Ages 60 & 16, a long 60 years fighting off disease, building immunity, is passed off through to DNA.
If you survive tetnus disease, never immunized, pass that to a child, they are selectively stronger.
But sorry ladies, you stop having children at 35. So actually 70 & 35 are ideal ages.
A while back I read about Robert Redford being offered a movie role and saying he wouldn’t take the role unless his character could get the girl. I don’t know how old Redford was at the time, but this wasn’t that long ago. Maybe in his 50s or 60s. Imagine a female actor of that age demanding that her character end up with the young, handsome leading man in a picture!
That was what the Chinese believed was the best age women to marry.
Do they get shorter too?
I care as much about Tom Cruise does or thinks as I car about the Operating Thetans from Uranus gobbling up engrams by the kilo.
It was from bit torrent so i didnt pay for it.
*** “Tell me about it” ***
Ok I will, Couple of years ago, I was singing Karaoke one night past my 6 beer limit and this really nice Lady was slapping my rear and unbuttoning my shirt as I was coming off the stage ... I gave her a hug and said their was plenty of Men in the Bar, kissed her on the forehead and next thing I know is the young lady that I was out with smacked me on the back and said “HEY, that is My Mom!”
We got our own table after that and I tried to find “Mom” someone to sit with her.
PS Mom was younger than I ;^)
I thought Tom liked being the catcher for David Miscavige.
